the medi

Right now he can't stay still he goes from one room to another back and forth. He has been in bed or he goes to lay on the floor. The med he is taking is suboxone. He is going to my med doctor who is a great doctor. I have told my husband to call the doctor if he gets worse. I would never go get the drug again. It hard to explain.  Why i did it in the first place, like some of you is suriaval i want him to make it. He said he wants to get better. So he hasn't done any of the stuff that he has bought because he would be ok if he did.

Hi NYCBT my friend

((((((NYCBT))))))

STay strong, keep reaching out, stay busy.

I understand about the medicine. I bought alcohol when mt AH was withdrawing and getting very ill.

Withdrawal can be deadly as you know.

Your Ah is fighting for his life.

You have good health benefits. Would he consider withdrawal in a hospital or detox center?

Just a thought.

Keep fighting

 Love

 Megan

((((NYCBT))))

You are both in my prayers.  My uncle detoxed at home from H several times.  It seemed to get harder and more severe each time.  At some point he decided when it was time to dry out it was easier to get himself arested for something and detox in prison.  It is a horrable drug, you are very brave and caring.

Be sure to take care of yourself!

I agree with the others your husband's withdrawal may need to be monitored at a hospital.  You are giving it your best shot but don't be afraid to reach out further to your Dr and ask for your A to be admitted to a medical facility if it gets too much for you.  Remember your health is equally as important.  Luv Leo xx

(((((((((((ny)))))) I have not directly been involved with anyone who used heroin, so I cannot help in that matter however I have watched many documentaries on addictions. I can see that it is not an easy thing to watch and I cant even imagine what the addict is going through. I agree with the others who have posted and sometimes it is better to have the medical professionals deal with such things, as they have the experience. You are doing the best you can with what you have at this point, however if it becomes too much for either you or him, please dont hesitate to call for help, for your own safety and his. Take care.........................
