Just wanted to let you know that I'm back to the living, sort of! I haven't forgotten about you all. I've missed you all.
The computer crashed. So we were struggling with finding the money to get it fixed. We found some, but will definitely have to get a new one. I still can't get into chat, as well as some other of my sites. Oh well.
Hubby has been med sick these past few weeks. The good news is that they are taking away some. The bad news is that it can make him . My poor guy. There were days when I look at him and it reminds me like when he was drinking. Just kind of out there. The doctor warned us that it could look that way. It could continue for a month or so as the body readjusts. But yesterday was a good day. Baby steps.
I'm doing okay. Our Christmas tree is still up. I like the look of it, and I just don't want to take it down. Besides a friend of ours is in Iraq and due to come home at the end of January. So I intend to leave it up until he comes home. A good thing to do.
I'm off this weekend. Pipers Kitty woke us up at 2am because of a "visitor" on the patio. A stray cat was getting warm. You should have heard the blood curdling yowl! Hubby and I realize our hearts are working just fine! I guess I'll make some brownies this morning and maybe trot on off back to bed. There are no rules for this weekend we have decided. Although we have a few chores. But it's finally cold and snowy, just the way we like it. I could use another foot of snow to go snowshoeing. But hey, I'll take what I can get. Watch some football. I'm in a dilemma of whom to root for. GO INDY! Can't decide on the Bears or Saints. That's a tough one.
Hope you all are well and safe. I've kept you all in my prayers, especially for those of you caught in the storms. Hey you texas folks, did you break out your ice skates? Give me a bit of time to catch up on your posts. I haven't been neglecting you. Say a prayer that our computer stays up long enough so that we can do our taxes and then buy a new one.

Hi Karilynn, and welcome home! Yep, we Texas folks, most of whom, like myself, love the heat and sunshine are having a difficult time coping with ice. At the merest hint, all the schools and businesses close down. San Antonio looked like a ghost town for a couple of days. It is still cold and raining and supposed to freeze again. Brrrr...I will happily ship this awful weather to you.

I have missed you....gald you are back....am praying that all is well with you and hubby....I think that is a wonderful thing you are doing for you friend that is in Iraq....giving him a christmas when he comes back home how special is t hat...then again, not a bit surprised...that is you :)
