Our transmission isn't working right. In June we were away from home and had to install a new one, it cost $$$$$ and we put it on credit. Three months ago my AH had problems with the transmission and he said "somewhere around here is the reciept for the transmission" like it was just floating around in the air. I tried so hard to find it, I knew he would pin it on me, but I couldn't find it anywhere. He said it was in the glove compartment and that he cleaned the glove compartment. I found what looked like it in a wierd place and filed it. When I gave it to him today, he got angry and said it was the wrong one. He said that he gave me the reciept for the transmission and if we couldn't repair it under warrenty that it was my fault. He never gave me that reciept and anyway, it has been 7 months, he told me the work was only good for 6 months, and anyway, we paid for it with a credit card so there is at least some record of the transaction and anyway he never even bothered to deal with the problem moths ago when I'm sure he could have picked up the phone and called the autoshop that installed it. If the tranny's messed up he can't work (he drives) and now that is all on me supposedly. Plus he already smelled like beer at 3:00 as he was hurricane running around the house and he is still on the clock!!! This is the second day in a row that he freaked out and ran out the door in a huff and I always wish he just wouldn't come back. Plus he was mean.

Hmmm - I suppose the weather was your fault too. Try not to pay to much attention to the blaming - as I remember being told when I first came here, complaining about being blamed for things that were not my fault , "but honey, that's what alcoholics DO". It's as much a symptom of the disease as the drinking.
