Reflecting, Smelling the Roses

(((((((Friends))))))))),

Today is a meloncollie type of day for me....just can't seem to shake it....I am still really liking my job...kids seem to be getting better.....zach has even been getting out of the house and started weight lifting at school again...so happy about that..... the child is not even 15 yet and is 6'1" and 200 lbs....not an ounce of fat...lol...I am so thankful his coach talked to him and told him Zach if you just get your grades
up you can get a scholarship for football, I will help you....how great is that....so just when we thing we are at our wits end something great happens....and my kids living life to the best of thier ability makes me happy.

Just today seem a little down, not sad, just down....I will be happy when spring comes and the sun is shinning again...I know that will make me feel better....

As hard as I try not to, I have found myself reflecting these past few days....I know in my mind and in my heart what my life is....and not so bad by far.....I just sometimes can't help wonder why????? Why this disease takes control of everything in it's path...

It truely messed my family up...the good thing is we are starting to come out on the other side......I have been seeing alot of positive changes in myself and my kids....

I guess some days we just would all like to know the answer why?? Why our lives have to go thru such hell.....I do know coming out on the other side is a wonderful thing and we look at life thru a different set of eyes....and it is wonderful to see the flowers again.....to smell the roses so to speak....

Love ya,
Andrea

We all have out down days, no matter what is going on, it seems.  You sure are entitled to some.  Expect it, embrace it and know that it's those days that make the good days just that much better.  You have been and are doing so well.  Be proud of you, dear friend and know that "this too shall pass".

I care about you and am praying for you daily.  God is good and He is holding your hand through it all.  Just let Him take over on these down days.  He can handle it so much better than any of us could ever think to do.  Please remind me of that during my down days, okay? We all need each other and in these times that is so revealed to us.

I'm thinking about you, my dear friend.

Love you! Lexie

This menalcholy sure can be hard.....i send you love and strength and understanding. I too have felt down of late....cycles of emotions I suppose.

This morning I smiled and said thank goodness I get to make this coffee and hear my girls' laughter and put this food on my table. The flip side of what is making me sad can sometimes remind me of what I have......does that make sense?

It it good you are noticing how you are feeling......just feel it....that is what I try to do....then I tell myself I love myself and give me a big hug.

I think I might go to town and buy myself a rose to smell, too.

Love,fifi

If we didn't have bad days, how would we know when we were having a good one?

Hi Andrea,

I echo Lexie's post!  Lean on God....... I can relate to those "down" days.  I still get them on occasion.  But I realize how faithful God has been and what a tremendous support system I do have.....for that I'm thankful and blessed.  Take care friend!

God Bless,
