Hello to all!!

You were missed, but I've been very busy and for the most part had a wonderful time!  We had a safe trip up to New Jersey and back, we had a great time with my family--yes I think even my husband can say that!  We went to New York City and saw the sights--oh I didn't think my legs would last!!!!!!!!  They are getting back to normal now. (All I kept thinking was--man do I need to get in shape!!!!!)

St. Peter's Cathedral was MAGNIFICENT!!!

My husband got my dad to go to an open AA meeting with him and I think that helped their relationship.  By the end of the week, everyone was using quotes from my husband and his AA lectures that he would give us.

Of course--now he has quite the big head, but I'm hoping that he will come back to earth soon.

The trip home was stressful--everybody tired and whatnot-- I could not take enough pictures to please that man!!  We stopped off to see his daughter that lives in Henderson on the way home--well his ex was there.  So my step-daughter saw her mom for the first time in about 3 years.  My husband made ammends to her and I stewed and brewed. (I know this needed to be done, I know it was a good thing, but I just panic inside we hear from her or see her!!)  So now my husband has made up a package of stuff to send her (she is an addict also), he feels like that is the least he can do for her. (I know that was a good thing too, but I still don't like it!!!!!!!!!!!)

ANYHOO!!!!  After getting home, I have cleaned and staightened like a mad dog and my house actually looks like a home.  Now if I can just keep it up!!!!

I need to go, I just wanted to check in and tell everyone hi and "we survived!"
