I am in Kansas, flew here from my home in Ohio, to visit with Mom, sister, and nephew. My AH is left at home taking care of the cats, I hope. He was spending Christmas day with his A-friend couple, who I don't care much for, but the guy and my AH have been friends since 1st grade. Actually, I like the guy pretty well, it's his wife who gets on my nerves. She gets so loud and obnoxious! Talked to him a couple of times since I have been here on Sat. (today is Tuesday). He seemed well. I am going back home this Friday. Mom is 86, and getting around slowly, but at least she is still getting around! It is very different for me to come here, no drinking around here! Nothing much for me to do except talk to Mom. I did bring a quilt to work on. I have to slow down my pace here....so I guess it is good for me, just a little strange feeling to be out of my element! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, and I am glad for the New Year to be just around the corner. I am celebrating my 1 year anniversary here on Jan. 1. I am feeling the need for a fresh clean slate! Will catch up on my reading and replies when I arrive home on the 29th. Miss you all....I am just hopping on my sis's computer for a few, no computer at Mom's house, so I am having withdrawls! Not good!
