Thank you HP for: -A warm house, most all conveniences of life, my health, my ability to choose my path -My friends and support group, these amazing people on this board and alanon, those that choose to stand by me in need and in sincerety of love and care -My family, for those that choose to love me unconditionally -My ability to learn and understand, to be able to choose to let my HP in and be a beacon -My ability to look in the mirror and be happy, worthy, and like this person staring back at me -And finally, thank you God, for my brothers and sisters in the military, doing yeoman's work, building hope and security, with risk of death and injury, away from their loved ones, not because they choose to be their, but because they took an oath to uphold ideals, morals, and values that defines our nation
Bless you all in your days ahead
love cj

My sweet program friend, one thing I have learned here in this program is that gratitude belongs to me. I get to be grateful for what I choose. If I want to be grateful for eggs - then I can smile and be grateful for eggs. Thank you for sharing your gratitude list, reminds me to always keep in focus what joys I have so as to expand even further in seeking joy.
Sure, I'd love to still be with my husband (the man I knew before he let alcohol and cocaine ruin his life)... I'd rather not be alone... I'd rather still be living in my house that I love...
However, I'm very lucky to have a great family and amazing friends. I'm very lucky to have a mom that is willing to take me and my 2 dogs in to live with her. I'm very lucky to be safe, warm, and loved. I have a car and a job, and I have good health.
When I look at that way... I guess I'm pretty lucky overall. Take care of you! Artygirl.
