Merry Christmas, or Happy Whatever Holiday You Celebrate!

Today is going to be a whirlwind of activity around here.  This past week since getting back from out of town with grandbaby, I have made 2 more gingerbread houses, a decorated gingerbread man for all my friends at work (about 48 of them), some more for people's kids.  I just delievered the last G.B. House this morning to a girl at work who is raising her two daughters 2 and 4 on her own.  Wish I could see their faces when they see it...

I am flying out to Kansas from Ohio to visit Mom and other family for the week.  Hubby is staying home.  Please pray for his safety while I am gone.  I get home Fri., the 29.

I hope I am able to use my sis's computer to come here while I am gone....I think I will not make it if I don't at least check in with you guys!  You are my angels.  Truly.

I wish you could see my house...it looks like Christmas exploded in here...doesn't everyone have a bunch of HUGE rubbermade tote boxes scattered around their living room for the holidays...well, at least they are red and green!

This morning, I need to make peanut brittle for daughter's inlaws, wrap and deliver some of daughter and her family's gifts, pack, print out some pics for ornaments for my mom, and clean the kitchen.  Yep, Christmas exploded in there too......I've been baking every spare minute all week.  Every year, I think I'm going to do "simple" but it turns into "oh, 3 gingerbread houses, that'll be easy.  And 10 batches of gingerbread men, a chinch....Oh, and Peanut Brittle for Mom, sisters, godparents, M.I.L., oh, and I need to make a fleece blanket for Mitch...with a matching pillow.....oh, and I need to go buy a new mixer since I burned the old one up last night making frosting!" well, you get the idea.  I'm a nut for Christmas.  Wish the feelings could last all year.  Everyone has been so nice, even at work.  Some of my old friends I have worked with for almost 20 years.  We hug and tell each other I love you.  It is so wonderful.  I am so blessed.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season.  And remember, the best gifts can be found right in your heart.  If you aren't feeling very "holiday-ish" do something for someone else.  Let someone in line go in front of you at the store.  Their smile will remind you how very special you are.

Love you all, I am so blessed to have you in my life.  I celebrate my 1 year anniversary here on New Year's Day!  A time to reflect, and look both ways, past and future.  Thanks for being here for me.

Love in Recovery,

Becky1

(((((((((((((Becky)))))))))),

Have a wonderful trip! Be careful out there it looks like it's going to get messy.  Enjoy the holidays.  Will keep you and hubby in my prayers.  I am sure he will do a good job of taking care of the kitties while you are gone.

Love and blessings to you and your family.  Merry Christmas!

Live strong,

Karilynn & Pipers Claus
