You said earlier on one of your posts that your attorney made it so you could be solely responsible for selling the house. What was the process for this? Our house has an offer and we have both signed the contract but I don't think he'll show for the closing and that will kill the deal! Right now we could walk away with a few thousand. He's more interested in screwing me over than saving his credit and making some money. Please let me know how you got the order so that you could sell the house alone.
My attorney filed a motion for Exclusive Possession of the Marital Home.
It went before a judge and given the circumstances and my A's alcoholism and cocaine addiction problems, the judge granted it. It states that I have all the authority to list and sell the property by myself.
