I am very proud. I told him that he was not going to stay here this weekend because I didn't feel comfortable about the lying in regard to stealing my son's codiene cough syrup and putting in lemon water instead. Then he showed up smelling like alcohol....

It was hard it's in the 30's tonight and the old house has no power or water so he'll be chilly. I am just so proud of myself for sticking to my guns even though I did feel a little sorry for him. But the anger of him doing all he did helped me keep my spine!

Yeah good for you for practising boundaries. I can relate to the heat issue. I don't think I can afford to switch on the heat this year.  Well maybe I won't have to. I am working 2 jobs 60 hours a week. I come home and go into a coma so maybe I won't feel the cold anymore lol.
