feeling guilt from a mall trip

I went to the mall with my daughter today .

My  dry A got mad I spent money on as my A says " junk". I bought her a necklace a pencil holder that had 4 things in it. and 2 lip glossess.

We had a nice time together. Im having trouble letting go of guilt i dont deserve.

Then my dry A says when home then im going to turn heat up seeing you like to waste money. ???

It was all over a total of 17.00

Im having trouble detaching from the guilt my dry A makes me feel like.

Im not a frivilous spender by any means.

I owed my daughter allowence and she is a honor student today.

Im just so angry and feeling guilt.

I am so sorry to hear that your husband is doing that to you. Just remember he is sick with a disease whether he be dry or not. Easy does it. How important is it? Let go and let God. Please try to remember these slogans when you are feeling like this. I KNOW IT is easier said than done. I AM glad you are here and sharing. It will get better with time. I believe God only gives us what we can handle. It will make you a stronger person.

This is easier said than done, but here is what I am trying to do.  Forget what the A said (or anyone else for that matter) and decide for yourself, was this an ok thing to do.  Was it irresponsable, is there any consequense to you or your family that you did this.

The important thing that most of us loose site of is: We can make decissions, even if they are unpopular.

Sounds to me like what you did was a nice reward for your daughter and had a good time doing it to boot.  The rest you can answer for yourself.  You don't have to fight with anyone about your conclusion.  Just confirm it for yourself and let them think what they will.

I am great at typing it... a little tougher for me to do it, so don't feel bad about letting it get to you.  It gets better with practice.

Take care of you!
