Life Through My Eyes


 


In my life I have only known nothing but lies


In my own little world with my own little eyes


Where there in no sadness and I can hear no cries


I am sad but cannot cry


My tears have long been dry


I cannot fill a heart that was never whole


I also am dead inside


And have no soul

Suddenly Life is again a seed


 


I am slipping further and further away from you


For I do not know what else to do


I am always feeling persistently blue


Surrounded by darkness yearning for the light


There is a tunnel ahead


It calls my name


It is time for me to go


It is not you to blame


My throat close up


I cannot breathe


Suddenly my life is again a seed

One cut too deep


 


Cutting is a way of relieving


Like some men are charming but deceiving


I cut to numb I cut to feel


But the pain I feel is definitely real


I see the blood running down


With all this blood I can drown


I am broken inside


Now it is hard to try to hide

Can you heart the music to my heart?


 


I am only trying to love


 


I am not perfect, but then no one else is except for the one above


 


I am listening, but hear no sound


 


My head is spinning all around


 


I cry out to God to save me


 


But God is unable to hear my plea


 


I am here waiting, but you are not near


 


I begin to pray


 


But am left with not a word to say


 


I love you God, but you took my heart away

Drowning in the Water


 


 


 


Turning round and round…this is how my life is day after day with not one sound


No happiness long enough to last… and left with nothing to do or say


 


I can’t turn back the clock, and can’t make my monsters go away


I am drowning in my whirlpool


Yet nobody can save me


 


I am so far in the deep water that all I can do is continue to drown


Falling further, and further in the ice cold water


Turning blue, but still alive


 


Can anybody jump in the water?


Will anybody save me?


No, I am left alone


 


I am not who they think I am


Evil… set apart from the rest of the world


Locked up, waiting in my cage


 


 My Head pounding like a hammer


Darkness is all I can see


My eyes blood shot red

Oh sweetie it is so good to see your name on the board again.  Your poems are so deep and emotionally charged.  How are you doing?  Remember we all are here for you.  You are not alone and god does hear your plea and your prayers.  He just may not be giving you the answer that you wanted.  Sometimes we have to look at the bigger picture to find our way.  You are still young and have a long road ahead of you.  Try to find some sunshine today and look for the good things hoever small they may be.
