Wow what a trip. What I do is love what bugs me. No pun intended here.

Ants come in once in awhile. I learned some need water, some need juice... so I will put a dot of whatever out. They take it and go home.

When I fought them, more came. I honestly don't see them much anymore.

So this summer/fall it dawned on me to prepare for winter. duh.

I  have been setting things up so we don't have to tromp thru mud. Have made it a bunch easier to feed. Put a walkway for the pots to where I will feed them. Put the handicapped pigs close to the deck so it is easier there. All the big animals will be fed at the barn.

I completely like what you said and agree. No use fighting nature, its better to work with it. I know  the native American tribes would build their homes in the landscape, so they became a part of their surroundings.

Anyhoo....thank you!! love,debilyn

(((Hi my Sweet!)))

Sorry, haven't been on in a while and just saw this!

You are so cute to put juice out for the ants!!! LOLOLOL!!!!

When I went to Wyoming, we had a family picnic and there were TONS of bees, like a weird invasion, all over our plates, etc., and we all kept swatting at them.  It was worse if you did.  My mom said, just leave them be and they will leave you be!

While meditating in the mountains this summer, I remembered the Buddhist saying that it all just IS.  Here I was, trying to meditate, and realized I was sitting on an ANT hill, bugs flying in my face, in this beautiful forest, bugs buzzing in my ear, not really serene.  I realized that this is IT, this is nature.  Bugs and all!  Same with life, I guess it makes the good things ten times better, huh?

Hope you are having a wonderful day, Debilyn!!!

Love, HeidiXXXX
