A Break from the Drinking, to write this...

Hey Everyone!!

Well....while my "A" husband has been out doing whatever it is he's been doing all day (besides drinking of course)...I got to spend some time alone and have some peace and quiet and just look what I was able to write!!! All on my own too! <LOL> I can't wait for him to come home and show it to him. Betcha it'll be something degrading, as always, but I'm used to that! But here it is for you all to see. I am one happy momma right now, even in the midst of all the termoil here!!!<<<<< A Military Moms Prayer: Thank you God! I'm so grateful for, you bring-ing my son home, from that awful war!Thank you that he's safe and sound, Not one more bomb will hit the ground! As around the base where he once stayed, Now he's home, he's alive, he's SAFE!! But, I'm still far from where he is, My prayer to you my God is this...May he sleep in peace tonight, Wrapped in the arms of his loving wife. May his daughter wake to find him there, And bless the days they'll get to share.  Amen.                                                            Written by Korinne : Proud Air Force mom of: SrA John C.W. III (Security Forces) "Operation Iraqi Freedom"  03/2006 - 09/2006  (2nd deployment) >>>>sigh>>>> hopefully last!!!!

Thank you for sharing.  That was beautiful!

I could not image what it would feel like to have my son over there. (but he's only 15, who knows what the future holds) My bf was in the 1st war with Iraq (still refers to himself as a Jarhead)

Please tell your son that we are grateful that he was there in our stead.

((((Korinne ))))

What a beautiful heartfelt poem!

How happy and relieved you must be to know he is home and safe.

More thanks than I can put into words to both you and your wonderful son for all his sacrifice and service to all of us.

God Bless SrA John C.W. III, may his days from here on be filled with love, peace and happiness.

May they all return home safely.

                               Love Jeannie

It's things like this that go to show me how small and insignificant my problems are. Thank you for sharing. You must be so relieved.
