I received some very bad news this week. My dearest friend from high school is dying of cancer. She has very little hope of winning the battle over cancer, since it has invaded most of her body. We have been friends for over 42 years and to think of not having her in my life is like losing a family member. So, I'm asking you dear friends to please say a prayer for her and for me.........that I may be a blessing to her in her last days as she has always been to me. I am thanking you in advance for your prayers. It's always good to come here and know you all will listen and that you care.
I am so sorry to hear your tragic news,i also have a friend(more like sister) we have been together for 40 yrs,i could not imagine life without her,we have been through good times and bad times together,never judgeing,we hope to be together for ever.
I will pray too hon. Send her a card. Be there if you she needs you. Don't take it personal if she doesn't feel well enough not to. Let her know how much she means to you and

Wow dear friend, I am so very sorry for your sadness, and most of all for the pain your friend is having....I am sending prayers for her to find peace, serenity and the joy of our Wonderful Lord..she is not alone by any means, he is holding her tightly.....
I have so missed talking to you...I love ya....hope we can talk tomorrow, Sunday I am off, thank god...lol....I have so very much to tell ya.....
I am praying for you and your dear friend.I have a friend of 37 years who just lost her leg in a motorcyle accident.I could have lost her and I cannot imagine that.
I also lost a friend to cancer,it was breast cancer.I wish I had been there more for her before she died.Take care of yourself so you can be there for your friend.All you can do is let her know that you love her and just be there.
