Well, everything was great, and now we are on an impromptu trip (left Sat. morning) in upper Ohio, headed for LAKE ERIE!!! We had dinner at the winery, went home, went to bed Fri, got up Sat and took off on the motorcycle and went thru and Indian Cave yesterday, stayed all night at a hotel in Bellevue Ohio. Now, we're off, rain or shine on the bike for a Lake Erie adventure we've never been on! Cool, huh? Who'd have ever thunk it???? LOL. ALANON ROCKS! You guys are the greatest, never would have made it without you. And I can't wait to see what the future holds for us, I've only been here since January of this year!

For those of you who are new and don't know me, check out the Miracles In Progress that God has granted to me and my husband, by checking out my old posts. Yes, he is still active, but I am in recovery! And that makes all the difference in the world!
Will check back when I get home Tuesday. Am on the hotel computer right now in the lobby, and hubby is waiting in the room for me. Probably wonders where the heck I am!

Welcome to my neck of the woods, LOL, "upper Ohio" or as we call it, North Eastern Ohio, well whatever you call it, it is on the shore of Lake Erie.
I hope you were not rained out of your bike trip yesterday, it rained off an on in some places, but other than that the weather has been great!
I wish I could meet you while you are here...but I am sure you are too busy with hubby having a good time celebrating your anniversary.
There is a curves in town...LOL...maybe you can fit in a workout so I can meet you there and we could have lunch? Probably not, LOL, most husbands aren't as understanding about being a third wheel around women as my husband seems to be, LOL.
I just hope you have a good time...

I think it's awesome that you are able to visit our wonderful Lake Erie. I always remain in awe of the water even though I get to see it often, and probably don't make the time to just go and hang out there often enough.
Got rain on last weekend during the air show.... course the next two days were rather sunny.... lol

Yeah!!!! I am so glad, you sound like you are having a great time! You deserve it. Many prayers and blessings to you on your vacation, and Happy Anniversary!!!! I love doing impromptu things, too, how fun for you both.
Thanks to all who posted. You guys are the greatest at keeping my spirits up when I'm down, and celebrating with me when I'm up. You bring so much joy into my life.
As Peewee said, it was funny when I was on the hotel computer in the lobby. I had told hubby I was going to get coffee, and I just about jumped on the computer and opened up this site, and started typing fast and furious. I kept picturing hubby walking in (he hates me being on the computer, guilty conscience, I think) and me having to dive under the desk to keep him from seeing me. OMG! He would have died, I think.
I am addicted to Al-Anon. Had to have my fix! I was having withdrawls! Felt so much better as my fingers flew across the keys! Then I went and poured us some coffee, and walked back to the room, real calm and cool. LOL. Yeah, I'm slick!
