For those who have read some/all of my saga, I am still stuck in the middle of it. For those that haven't I am too tired to go over it LOL
Either way I wanted to check in and let you know I am still working on myself and the divorce. Keep ing my wits about me. stress levels are OK considering that foreclosure is looming, no offers yet on the house, creditors calling, A still an active A ... and living in the same house. Strangely enough I am still pretty happy, sad too but more sure everyday that what I am doing is the right thing for ME. Today more sad than other days, no reason why just is and will pass, soomer versus later I hope.
I started to look at my step work and everything Alanon as a chore so I took a break. It was interesting, I thought without constant input I would get lazy maybe revert. I might have a little here and there. On the whole though everything stuck with me, I found myself calling upon slogans, the Serenity Prayer, and all the ways I have changed quite often. More had sunk in than I thought And my HP is still there for every time I may have allowed myself to slide backwards there was something to remind me that I am moving foward sometimes willing sometimes dragging my feet like a pouting child. It's still forward.
I don't have the eyes to catch up on the posts tonight. I hope everyone is doing well, and is finding happiness. Big hugs to all.
So glad to see you posting again. I've been thinking about you and hoping all was well with you. It is tough when sadness settles over us, but as you said it doesn't last and we have to keep on moving forward. ODAT You'll be in my prayers.
Glad you had time to post, it is great to hear from you. Your post sounds so strong! Way to go.
I truly belive you are right, we are not learning slogans for the moment, we are learning a new way to live. It is obvious in your post that you are taking it to heart and that is wonderful.
