Hubby has made it to the 6 month mark! ((gotta love him)) I'm so proud of him :) He's in Alaska working and today sent son and I tickets to come for a visit. He's taken care of everything, which is a complete turn around. He found and chose the flights, paid for them and did all arrangements. I didn't lift a finger.
He has sent pictures of the beauty there, just awesome, mountains, glaciers, etc. Also sent pics of a really ugly huge salmon he caught..lol
Here's one of the pics he sent of the mountains and glacier.
Can't wait to see it myself! Anyway, just wanted to update y'all that all is well. Son and I are doing fine alone and hubby is doing wonderfully.
Love y'all Christy

sooo sooo happy for you!! And many many congrats to your husband!! Not just for his sobriety, which is HUGE, but for taking charge with the trip arrangements.
Congratulations to you both, and long may it continue.
You've given a lot of people hope and to see the progress and miracle is just awesome.
I've been up all night waiting....my daughter in law is in labour right now (baby is long overdue) and my son and I have been with her all day trying to be as supportive as we can. I've got some time on his laptop to catch up while my poor daughter in law is "in there" doing all the work!!!! Son is in there doing the back rubs and just loving her. I hope to have some good news very soon.
Hubby, Pipers Kitty and I share your joy and send our love and congrats to all! Hubby will be at 90 days in a few weeks. Yes, miracles do happen. We were packing for his weekend with the kids, and he turned to me and said: "It's so nice not to be looking for vodka bottles and finding them!" Never thought I'd hear that! lol
The picture is beautiful! I am so jealous, hubby and I long to go there. Now remember there is nothing ugly about a salmon, you just turn it into !
Here's to you and your family. Love and blessings to you all.
Live strong,
Karilynn, Hubby and Pipers Kitty

diva, We are leaving on the 15th of this month and returning on the 22. Hubby sent me brochures to pick out some activities. Whale watching on a boat is at the top of the list for me.
I gotta say..Thanks everyone for the support, but A is the one that did the real work to get where he is. This has been the easy part for me :) My work was really previous to his sobriety, not that I'm done ..lol It's just simply easier.
Thanks Again (((all of yy))) I'm sure your prayers got him (and me) through the darkest hours, and I'll never forget it.
Christy

I am soooo happy for you all! Congratulations to your darling hubby on his 6months
I hope you enjoy your trip and the quality-time together. The picture is breathtaking, thanks for sharing it (got myself lost in a beautiful little reverie just looking at it) and whalewatching sounds awesome. What a blessing! You all deserve it so much... oh, the joys of sobriety.
That is great Christy. Photo is awesome makes me want to visit it myself. Hope you have a great trip. Don't underestimate yourself your husband couldn't have got through this battle without you. LUv Leo xx
