Well last night during the meeting my hubby called from Alaska to say that he was at the air port in Dutch Harbor and he would be flying into the airport here at 6:30am. Poor guy the first words out of my mouth were not loving kind words of a woman happy to have her hubby coming home my first words were, "The cars not fixed yet." LOL poor guy.
So then I had to try and find someone to watch my kids at 5:00am so that I could go get hubby, and the two other guys. One of them had left his car with us, and since it isn't mine I have not bee driving it much (is is a convertible mustang and on the really sunny days is hard to not be tempted to take it :), with his permission of course.) So I had a car, but it could not fit 3 kids and 4 adults.
I called a few people and then went back to the meeting. After the meeting I started calling more people. Eventually a friend of mine said yes, I wasn't worried I knew that since I had a need, eventually HP would show me the answer, just wasn't sure if it would meet the 6:30am time frame is all.
It all worked out. Hubby is home from Alaska! He is showered and smelling great.
He doesn't have the 45 days sober that I thought, he drank last night. But who cares, he is home and today was a great day! And living one day at a time, that is all that matters right now, is today.
Yours in recovery,
Dolphin123
