Someone shared once that the AA/NA program shares the saying "Progress not perfection".  Perhaps his is getting better, if you noticed a change, it may be real?  His bender may just mean that he's not perfect yet.


My AW is active and not trying to get better right now, so I understand your frustration, but the share came to mind immediatly when I read your post, so I thought it might be something else to think about.
