I have felt so much better this evening, thanks to the support of all of you. Thank you. THANK YOU!!! Look out. The old Diva is back in full swing...

Tomorrow is my birthday, and the A got me a pair of cockatiels. I have never had birds before, although I devote a lot of time to caring for the wild ones in the forest around our home. I think I am going to like these characters. They are friendly and cute as they can be. I know nothing about these cockatiels, but I am studying on the internet, and tomorrow will visit a pet shop to see what kind of info I can pick up there. I have cage, toys, food, treats, perches, ladders, millet, cuttle bone, swings. These birds have more possessions than I have!!! Maybe sometime I will raise some little ones...well, one thing at a time.

Can't help ya with the cockatiels, I have however raised lovebirds in my lifetime so maybe there are some similarities.  Enjoy!!!

I am glad to read you care for the wild birds. Do you have Stellars Jays? Aren't they cool?


I love nuthatches too.


glad your A got  you the birds. Usually with two they will bond with each other but not so much with you.


I had one years ago I loved so much. they love to eat what you do. Yes they are characters. I know you will have fun.


they are fortunate to have  you. If you can, you might think about putting up a neat flight cage for them outside.
