I want to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes over the past couple of days.  I would also like to thank everyone who each and every day shares their ES&H.  From the newcomer who reminds me how far I have come to the oldtimers who show me that I have that much further to go. 


This past weekend I had the chance to spend some time with some MIP friends at my camper.  It was such a wonderful time.  I learned so much from each and everyone of them.  Working my program every day is the only way I stay with some sense of serenity and sanity. 


I had a thought this morning while reflecting upon this past weekend.  Our campground has a pair of swans that swim in the pond at the campground entrance.  This spring they had 3 gosslettes.  I commented to one of the girls how big the gosslettes have gotten.  These gosslettes in their young life are not very attractive yet they grow into beautiful adults.  Not much different than us when we start in this program.  We come in all gray and gloom, feathers ruffled and not very attractive.  As we grow in this program our true hidden beauty starts to shine through until the day comes that we emerge as the beautiful people we were meant to be.


That was the best birthday gift I could have gotten this year - the eyes to see the beauty in all of us.

So glad u had a nice weekend camping :) Sorry I was all wrapped up in my move and didn't make it up there, still getting settled in, but I have all my stuff moved! Yeah!


What a difference it makes when we can see all the wonderful things around us, loved your post and hope you have a terrific day!

Grateful me tooooooooooooooooooooo. I had the most wonderful weekend also. I was actually able to spend the whole weekend not worrying about work. The time I spent sharing with you was awesome --- the ocean was wonderful; our seafood fest was the best; and the campfire with s'mores to top off the weekend was a hit.
