here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
She looks great - better than I have seen her look in four years. She was so excited that I came to see her, and very understanding that her dad was unable to take off work on such short notice. Several group meetings, with the people in treatment and their family members and then some meetings with the people in treatment just family members.
Majority of the family members were not familiar with Al-Anon, so the counselor let me share how the program has helped me, etc.
Not sure where she will go after she leaves treatment, which will been on the 22nd or 23rd of this month, but will stay out of her business.

I am so happy that things went well. How wonderful that the other family members got to hear about alanon from an alanon member, that provides a true connection to what the program has to offer.
