My experience has been that everyone - EVERYONE - ive met in Al Anon meetings has been good people - different, maybe, but all good, decent caring people. Im wondering with the growing popularity of smart or AI or Meta glasses (glasses with a camera, a microphone, a computer) has anyone considered that a member might inadvertently wear a pair of them into a meeting and inadvertently record a sharing? Probably a longshot, but theyre becoming very popular.
Nice to see you on the board again texas yankee. I know nothing about the glasses. I find the people who come to the meetings for help are as you saygood people. But of course there are exceptions to everything. I attend a zoom alanon meeting once a week. We have been zoom bombed several times. People came onto the zoom and were extremely inappropriate. So anything can happen. I think its good we do not use our real names. Life is unpredictable. ODAT.
