I talked to my sister yesterday for quite a while and did inform her that if she wasn't going to protect her children then she leaves me no choice but to protect them.  So, today is my sisters 31st birthday and I called Child Protective Services.  Hopefully sometime in the future she will forgive me.

I also informed her that, everytime I know her boyfriend is driving her car, I will be calling and reporting it to the police.  He has had 5 speeding tickets all more than 20 mph over the limit....3 of them in a 35mph zone....and he has been caught twice driving on a suspended license.  I did some research and the 3rd time caught will be a felony which is a year in jail....maybe this will be the only way these kids can be protected. It did surprise me when she told me that the most convenient time to catch him will be tonite at 10pm after they drop the kids off at my moms house.  At least if he's in jail, he can't hurt the kids.

Needless to say, she is very angry with me right now.  The only thing that helps is knowing she is in regular contact with our mom right now and that when she leaves tomorrow morning for Vegas, our mom will be taking care of the kids for the next 3 days.....Thanks to everyone for the support.
