I had alot of trouble getting on the message boards. I could not open it with the shortcut I use. I could not open it with putting in the address. I had to "google" MIP and could only open it with the site listed for the cookbook. That brought me here.

Im not a pro at this.. but I do have a few simple things ( suggestions ) to do that may help if your having trouble getting into the chat room or your computer is acting sluggish. (taking forever to go from one site, one page, to the next.)

If your unfamiliar with doing this, please have someone be there with you or do this for you. It is quite simple, but must be done correctly.

First go to TOOLS ... then  to  INTERNET OPTIONS. seond box says; Temporary Internet files   -  you want to click on Delete Cookies, OK and Delete Files - DO check the box that states  *all offline content. Click ok.  Then the History BOX  you want to JUST click on [Clear History.] Clik ok.  The Internet Options Big Box will close. 

Next..... Click on Favorites (top left on explorer page)  and click on Organize and then highlight and delete the link to this website.  Click ok.  Will close the box.

I would close the Internet Explorer page at this point.

Ready.  Then just open the    Internet Explorer.  Use the Search engine to locate the webiste  or better yet   *  type in *   

  http://www.12stepforums.net/index.html

once its downloaded completely ~(states "done"  on bottom left side of the screen)    

 ADD it  to FAVORITES.    or go one step further and click on MEETING ROOM for ALANON and once its downloaded and your signed in.,  Add it to your Favorites.

Need some help clearing out your history and temp files to see if that will help you to re-set your link with this website.,  you can PM  me. I'm not a pro, but I may be able to help with a few simple things to help you get things right.
