Ok my A must be making me stupid by osmosis. I have tried 3 times to get my nickname to show in the chatroom. I go to the bottom left corner as I have done in the past & type it in & hit enter. and wait................................Nothing happens. I am aol . I have registered my nickname with starchat irc network. I got an activation code & I do not or see how to I am to use it. I have tried to send them and email. It gives me an error. I can not win for losing.
Oh my feet are both blistered on ball of my feet from yesterdays disaster. She is telling me she stuck out her thumb trying to get a ride to get gas but not one person stopped. she had a red 2 gallon gas can with her. so anyway we are pretending like nothing happened.
I am pissed. I have no hope of telling her how I feel. It sucks to come home & have a warm body here but being unable to talk to it. I will try tommorrow when she sees her counselor maybe or I will got to alanon instead..... yeah maybe alanon. lord knows I need it.
If anyone can figure out how I can get back in the online chatroom. I am at my hmrnrnmm@ aol.com
After you type in your nick and hit enter...then go to where you normally would type to chat and enter that activation code exactly as they show it in the email. If that don't work, try typing it /join #StarChat which should take you to the help room and they can walk you thru it there. Hope that helps!

Sounds like you did have a rough day. Perhaps by sharing here it helped a bit and hope kismetstrand’s suggestion worked for you and you were able to get to a meeting today.
It is possible that this slow aol users was unable to authenicate her registeration in a 24 hour period. So if you do not have a few days to get online in a row to do this. You should wait until you do or it will not work. I have registered again.
Have a greatful day. It looks like I may not get back to this again until Saturday we shall see.
