The first sentence of this reading made me chuckle. The author says that when things go wrong, and we have dreaded expectations, may be opportunities to see life in a lighter, better way. It is suggested that our HP may throw us a curve ball that can turn out to be positive. Laughing helps us to be less afraid, and we should enjoy humorous moments that come our way.
I must admit that my recovery has taught me to be more spontaneous, not to imagine horrendous outcomes before events happen, and I laugh so much more than I ever did prior to recovery. It's a relief to look for and find humor instead of dread and tragedy. ODAT. :)
