This reading sparked my interest as it speaks to the concept that no problem lasts forever.  Some wounds do not heal quickly.  Difficult times can bring out our courage, faith, and our need for others.  All experiences can be growth-producing.  And of course reminded me that all things shall pass.

In my 33 year relationship with my A, who has about a year and a half in recovery, I find myself once again, asking myself why I stay.  There is still good, but there is still a ton of non-recovery stuff I must cope with.  And at times I do get triggered.  Thanks to program I'm in control of myself, but I must admit today  (Sunday) I am very saddened.  If only....If only she had gone to AA years ago, but she didn't.  So we have what we have, good days and bad.  If only pigs could fly....
