She died Oct.5,1988
If she was still alive today she would have bin 115years old

Her life story has opened many doors for us.As I grew in AlAnon.I reserched manythings.I was interested in.Where Alanon started...In my reserch I read alot about Lois's story.How she started meetings in her home.
One year our group had to find a new meeting place.We were on the serch as our building a (old school)was closing.The memories how Lois kept meetings going in her home.We decided to have a group conoius meeting to decide who was willing or able to have meetings in there home for we voted yes to try it.  Until we found a new meeting place later was a (church)
The meetings we strong,powerful,united.That open doors for me to understand the traditions.Tradition 12 was in effect at this time."Anonymity"For some members were unable to have meetings in there homes.And those that could we were to protect our alacholics as well as eachother.There is this saying on some tables at meetings.That appies this step.
