Last night was a bit scary for me. I was at the meeting here and feeling just fine. At 6:30pm I started to hurt, so I left the meeting and laid down on the couch. I then started to get really really cold. I went and got a blanket and went back to the couch. I just kept getting colder and colder. The I started shivering. I couldn't stop. My hands and feet hurt because I was so cold.
I told my "A" that i was going to bed. Our younger two children went to bed early because they didn't nap at daycare. Our 6 year old was still wide awake. He put a disney movie on for her, and then came to lie down with me.
Now the biggest peve my "A" has is me putting my cold hands on him, but last night he told me to cuddle up to him and try to get warm. He later told me that he was scared because it wasn't cold in the house at all. So I laid there trying to warm up, but I was getting colder and a was shrivering more and more.
I jumped up and got sick and came back to bed. The shivering got worse, but my stomach felt alot better. He said he't give me another hour to stop and if I didn't he'd take me to the hospital. He said if he didn't know me any better he would have thought I was going through DTs.
Well I fell asleep and woke up at 10:30pm, and it was like someone flipped a switch on my thermostat, I was really really hot. I now had a fever, and the shivering had stopped. I remember my "A" asking me every couple hours if I was okay.
This morning he told me he thinks I ate something tainted, or I got bit by a spider. He thinks my body went into shock over something.
He was so great, and so attentive. He told me this morning that he was scared last night, so was I. He has been taking care of me today, he said he thought it would be best if I stayed home from work. Since I really don't know what the heck happened last night, and since one of my co-workers is pregnant, I agreed.
If ever I have any doubts of him loving me, he showed it last night. He may not always show me the way I want him to, but he does love me and I was able to see that last night..
Much Love,

Mandy I don't what you caught, but chills followed by fever usually indicates infection. Fevers usually peak around 10-11pm ( ER calls it the witching hour) Hope you are feeling better physically and mentally.
