Yes the bubble has burst big time. I have walked out and have rented a flat at an address only my daughter knows. The lies he is telling people is beyond belief. I cant cope any more with his drinking, its a litre or more of vodka a day and I cant compete. I feel exhausted its been 3 weeks of hell until I got out 2nights. He says he is going to haunt me, getting lots of calls, messages etc, must change my mobile. I dont know what I am going to do next but it is certainly not going to include him. I cant even be bothered to write or talk. Will try again later.

I have been gone 1 year
My husband drank liters of vodka every day and was horribly verbalyl and mentally abusive to me. I finally could not take it and left.
It took him a few days to notice that i was not there and then Then the calls started. Good thing I have caller id and put my cell on silent mode. Som days it would ring 50 times or more.

Here are some things that have helped me since in the program.
Go face to face meeting & online meeting.
post on the board here on the site. I have gotten a lot of good feed back.

Set support system. people do not judge. You need someone who can go for coffee on a bad day, or pick up a phone and call when in trouble. The support is what is important when you first this program.
Have a sponsor. Someone work one on one with you.
You don’t have to do this the minute u come to the program but I suggest that u do it when u can. It help.
Meeting schedule: meetings are in here and run approximately 90 minutes from: Monday-Friday, 9 am and 9 pm EST, Saturday: 10 am and 9 pm EST, Sunday: 10 am and 7 pm EST. Topics are selected by participants at meeting time. UK +5 hours, central -1 hour, mountain -2 hours, pacific -3 hours. Open chat all other times.

If you want things you never had you need to do things you have never done
If you have any literature perhaps some reading on the slogan First things First may be helpful. I am often at a point when I cannot see straight and it all gets muddled together. If I stand back and look at simply What is the next right thing to do? and do that, little by little I start to see progress. It is not easy, as I am a jump right in kind of person, but, if Nothing changes then Nothing changes. The way I do/did things is exactly what brought me here in the first place. I suppose it is time to try things differently.
