I been at my job eight years ago. In eight years I have changed so much. I moved down to where I live now eight yrs ago. I have since gotten married. Started alanon. Have grown alot with alanon. Made alot of friends. Been working on my self more.

Your a dear sweet personSo glad to know You. You helped me when I first arrived after a long time away. Then a few times we just hap't to be able to help others together in open chat ... remember? It felt so awsome. Made me feel stronger and stronger. I really realized how much I missed the program and the love I always received from the people inside the doors of Alanon. You helped me redefine my selfcare, to get a grip on my boundaries and to stand my ground. Always let me know it was important to *take care of me. I love you so much for this! I feel great today. Even better to know how much you have progressed. You've given me so much inspiration to stay with it and to not give up nor give in to isolation. and to go for it and try to help others because that helps me too.

End of June marks my 8yrs fulltime at the town library. My son makes it easy to remember when I started. He's graduating from 8th grade end of June. I worked at the library parttime on a grant while he was in Kindergarten. Started fulltime for the town right when he got out of Kindergarten.
Congratulations:the longest I have been able to stay at a job has been 1 year, maybe 18 months so it says a lot that you stuck it out. I also admire your heartfelt commitment to Alanon the way you reinforce your boundaries. I really do admire the way you can put your issues out there and work on them, it is inspiring. Thank you for reminding me this program is in steps.
You go girl !!!!!!! It was so nice to hear you talk about your job which you enjoy helping others and being able to multi-task on the puter at the same time !!!! Congratulations.
