Hi all, just checking in.  Have heard people have been wondering where i was in the room so i thought i'd post real quick...


I had surgery on the 10th, nothing serious, but nothing i wanted to share with the room with, kinda personal, and i didn't want to make everyone worry.  They have had me on pain killers which i am truely not a fan of due to my husband's past abuse of them. That, and the fact that they make me very sick to my stomach and make my mind a total mess.


I had made the decision a while back not to come to the room while i was recovering because to me, the room is a safe place.  If I come in to the room or on to the board while on pain killers, the very thing that brought me hear in search for help when my husband was taking them, what respect do i have for that safe place?


Anyway, i am doing good now, i have been of the pain killers since yesterday and feel human again, very glad to say.  I've got my daddy here taking care of me and my boys, it's really neat to see him with my children making such good memories together.  Due to his cancer, we don't know how much time we have left with grandpa, but these's days are precious to me and my boys for sure.


Along with all that, my female bullmastiff Duchess went into heat and i have been very busy getting everything set up with the stud owner, she gets bred tomarrow and i am soooooo exited!!!!!  My husband will have to be in charge of that this time though, I'm afraid i don't have the strenght yet to hold a 100 plus pound dog in a situation like that rofl!

Glad you are doing better. Agree with josey....enjoy each minute together with your dad....Im just gonna leave the stuff about Duchess alone, but Im sure she will have some cute pups.

We've missed you! I am glad you are feeling better. I really like that idea of the room being a safe place.

Enjoy your time with your Dad. Remember it's not how long you have on this earth, but what you do with the time spent here. ((((((((((((((((((((((Grandpa))))))))))))))))))))

I hope everything goes well with Duchess. I can't imagine containing a dachsund in heat lone enough a Mastiff. But I can't wait to see the pictures of them! Can we name one after Buzz?

((((trina)))  so glad to here your O-K  ......I've thought of you often and those times I just felt that everything was ok. ((hughughug))  So glad to hear that you have had    the surgery but better to know that it went allright for You.  Your on the road to being WELL!!!  Woohooo!    Take your time  letting your body heal from the inside is very important. 


I miss your presence  &  your wonderful es&h   ~   Hope to see you soon in chat!
