However, Kent maybe you don't believe in guns. As far as the tv jive, I found that very hurtful. I am a woman, women are borned scared. Men have no idea how it feels to not feel safe anywhere.
As women don' t know how men feel in certain circumstances. This is a serious issue and I appreciated those that validated my feelings.
You many not know me Kent, but I have been through way too much in my life. I do know the element that is out there too well.
Plus I live alone out on five acres and NO ONE can hear me. I believe in guns. If someone came in here, they would not be going back out. I am serious.
I would not allow anyone to hurt my animals or me.
geez kent now you can see how much your comment hurt me. shaking head. I am 53 years old, not a kid. I worked with gang kids for 18 years Kent. I KNOW what I am talking about. Thank God they liked me.
You all would be shocked if you knew how many kids carry guns. It really is awful.
Anyway, I am not going anywhere for awhile anyway. Have a phone call with my attorney about Ricks SSD Monday. NO way am I driving anywhere.
I put Estersue in front too. Not too many people would come in with here there. Even though she is a big baby. (c: But we never really know what an animal will do. I am seriously thinking about raising some geese for noise. I don't want to get older ones becuz they like to bite my butt.
I am going to write to my A today. I am so concerned about his mom. I know they have put me thru hell, but they are all A. I love them very much but hate the A in them.
thanks you guys again. hope you are ok today. I am serene... eating my soy youghurt and strawberries...(c:
Sorry your feelings got hurt by what Kent said about guns, and then I agreed with him. I dunno. I know I am scared to death of guns.
On Memorial Weekend, when my daughter was a baby, a very good friend and next door neighbor shot himself in the head (it was never ruled a suicide.) But, I heard his wife screaming (they had been married 9 days) outside, and while my daughter's dad ran outside to see what was wrong with her, I ran into their side of the duplex, and found him in the basement, blood all over, half his head gone, but he was still breathing, chest going up and down. Found out later, that was probably just reflexes. But, I ended up in the nut ward over that. I had seriously never seen anything that bad. 29 years later, I can still smell the blood and gun powder. And then a year and a half ago, my A was drunk and screaming he was gonna kill me.....and he had several guns cos he hunts. Now, he doesn't own any guns due to my filing domestic violence charges against him, even tho the guns were not involved. I guess it depends on who has the gun in their hand. Anyway, that's my take on guns.
But,you have to do whatever makes you feel safe. Guns don't make me feel safe. They make me scared. You sound like you know what you are doing, as far as handling one, though. I don't.
Hope writing to your A helps get some of the bad feelings you have been having out of your system. I know it is very therapeutic for me. Enjoy your soy yoghurt and berries!
Please stay safe!

Oh, yeah, and Happy Mother's Day. You are the Mother of so many creatures, as well as your children, and I know they all love you.
Just read your posts. Be careful and stay safe. Most everyone has said the precautions I would take already. I hope you can find out what is going on and feel comfortable again ASAP. We're so lucky to have our protectors, even if we know they are babies not everyone else does. Please take care, you're in my thoughts and prayers as always.
Glad you are doing ok. Is Estersue a dog? I'm visualizing a very BIG dog.My mother in law had a great dane that was so intimidating when she walked up to you but was the sweetest dog in the world.Still, I think she would have changed in an instant if someone tried to harm my mother in law.
Sounds like you are taking care. That creep has a surprise coming if he messes with you!
I have probably made your situation worse, and I apologize for that.
There is nothing I can say to persuade you on this topic. (I've erased about 5 edits of this reply.) Our culture of violent entertainment gives all of us the basic orientation that violence can solve problems. I so much want to publicly argue with you about this, but it is wrong to so do. That is my controlling mode trying to fix something in your view that bothers me.
I will say no more about my opinion on guns to anyone on this forum. It's off-topic.
"Men have no idea how it feels to not feel safe anywhere."
...I beg your pardon?
I will ask you for one thing: please pray for me. Your safety and happiness is my prayer. I'll leave you in peace without further comments.
I am so sorry you are so scared. I hope you can feel safe again soon! On a light note--GEESE!! I have 9 of the little buggers. They can get pretty loud. We call one Charlie, he happens to love my husband, he used to go up to him while he was fishing and actually crawl up into his lap. It was so funny to see!
Take care of yourself and be careful. There are so many who care and love you!
