Where did this slapping people with a trout and trouts away come from???

I love the lightheartedness of it --- but am new enough, yet been around to enough weeks, to wonder ..........????????

Thankyou for the fish slap link! Oh, what a wonderful interpretation of my relationship right now! I have actually sent it to my bf as a metaphor with a note for him to get out of the water now...lovely.
