Hello, dipstick, Finding a sponsor is at the heart of working the Program, and I'm glad you want to embark on this journey. It will change your life! My best esh is for you to go to face to face meetings and find someone who "has what you want" in terms of the Program. This can be someone you can call and talk to directly when you have a problem, besides someone who will work the steps with you. Blessings on this journey, mebjk
I second the importance of face-to-face meetings and finding a sponsor who can work one on one with you. If this is simply impossible (and I do mean IMPOSSIBLE-not inconviennient) you can go to online meetings. Usually there is a chat session afterward and you can approach someone there about sponsorship. It's just easier to completely work the steps with your sponsor if you can meet because it is such a lengthy and involved process, but it's not impossible to do it via web AND phone calls.
