Every once in a while I've found it's been helpful to me to look through my "toolbox" of things I've learned through the program. It gives me a bit of an inventory and reminds me what's in there for when situations arise. My sponsor at one point had me do it just as if I was doing a store inventory, just putting it in alphabetical order. A= acceptance, B= Big Book (okay, yes, I'm an A, as well....), C= the three C's, D= detaching with love, etc...you get the picture.
So I guess I was curious what tools are in your toolbox today that weren't there before the program, or if they were there, you didn't know how to use.
My sponsor told me that tools left in the toolshed unused for a long time lose their effectiveness, tend to rust, etc... So I do have to do this on a regular basis. Maybe it sounds like a silly topic, but I'd love to hear what you guys have to say on it.
