bestest birthday ever today may 4th

since joining alanon I have tried to let my Hp take over, I finally let her face her own consequences & I think it finally worked. Last weekend was really rough but......My A has been sober 6 days now. I am hopeful.


Today is my 46th birthday and she is sober for the first time since I can't remember when. Bestest present so far. She said something so profound." If we work on each other individually then maybe we will come back together again one day".           


I get to talk to my counselor in a little bit then to work for 6 hours with the dry drunk. I feel so good today so far. LOL She gets to go house sit for a friend and that is whole weekend. no way to go buy any & non allowed in the home.


I hope all my online alanon friends have the bestest day today & more good than bad in the future.
