I am not sure what controversary you are talking about but it is unfortunate that one had to occur at all. What concerns me is that the publically and privately part you mention may have contributed to hurting others who meant no harm by possible gossip that can occur from discussing "out of context" things with many people. In alanon, are we not here to support each other or go to the source of an issue and discuss it with only that one person? Are things discussed in the room not meant to be kept in the room and things on the message board not meant to be kept there? I felt the post and replies were handled well and taken care of below. I am sorry you were hurt by others replies but once again, Take what you like and leave the rest and as you said, QTIP. your friend in recovery, cdb xoxoxoxo
Hi Josey...I hope you didn't view my answer as an "out of context" one. I chose to answer the "why r u here?" portion of your post because I thought it interesting and could lead to a good discussion. Which it did! Perhaps you are not even talking about that particular post of yours. Don't know. But I thought the replies were all well-thought-out and sincere.
