Has anyone had experience with the vivatrol shot. How long have side affects last. DH just came out of rehab and was so happy and posative, 2 days later depressed and headaches.
Hello Lilli: I just wanted to welcome you to the board and I am sorry I dont know anything about the medication you are talking about above but I know it is used to help alcoholics and drug addicts s not relapse. But other than that I would not know what coming off the medication would feel like. Im hoping somebody will see your post who knows more about it but I just wanted to welcome you here
Lilli, I second the welcome to you and perhaps the message board can offer you some experience, strength, and hope, what we call ESH! I also am not familiar with that medicine, but you may find much info online with WebMD or other such websites. Best of luck!
Welcome to MIP Kathleen. So glad you found us and so glad you posted. I do not have any experience with this treatment. We do have several members here who might because they are professionals in the field. My hope is as Rose posts - they come along and give you any experience they may have.

Welcome to the board and my experience is to be cautious of using a chemical to alter the affects of another chemical. Do your home work well nd get the experience of other professionals. Keep coming back.
