Thanks again to those of you who replied to my (not an ultimatum).My huband stopped by yesterday and brought me over a garden bench. He had picked it up at of someones trash,he put all new screws in it, stripped the wood down, restained it and repainted the metal. it is lovely. It reminds me what he can do when he sets his mind and talent to something.
I asked him if he would come over this morning and watch the baby as I had a very early run, and our oldest son had to leave early for an exam at school. He agreed and was here at 6AM. When I returned he was pleasant and playing with Conner. We talked for a while about nothing in particular. He told me the Conner (who is 2)had shocked him, he loves those little muffins in a bag from hostess, my husband had tired to take one from him, and Conner pointed at him and said "get your ugly mitts off my muffins!" I laughed and said ok the big kids are teaching him how to be fresh. He said he is missing so much and I just said, yes you are. As he was leaving I asked him if later he had some time to talk. He looked at me and asked "talk or small talk", I said realy talk, and he asked about us? I said yes. at first he got an attitude and said "Oh you're ready to talk so I should talk?" I then told him, yes I'm ready to talk, but you let me know when, later, or tomorrow, at your convenience. He seemed to relax and said ok, he would call me later and we can pick a time when the kids where in school to talk.
Now it is up to him and HP. I will be patient and wait for him to bring it up.
