can't get in chatroom

Tried but cant get in ...
1) Message box popped up: "Verify Certif... Do you wnt to trust the signed applet distributed by Phillippe DeTourneay?" DO I or is this a virus?

2) Then white box loads, but .... I get that "Unable to connect: java.security.
AccessControlException: accessdenied.
java.net ..."
How much of it do you need?

3) I'm using a Mac iBook G3, OS10 -- if that makes a difference.

Emma, technology really isn't my thing, I'm new online and been using this site about a month. I accept the Phillippe De Tourneay applet each time I log in to chat (it gives you the option of 'yes', 'no' or 'always' I believe; I didn't try 'always' in case something went wrong and I couldn't undo it!?!) It doesn't seem to have given me any viral problems so far but we do have several anti-viral/spyware programs set up on our computer. Once I've accepted it I can get in and don't seem to get the Java message. If this is unsuccessful there are two other addresses I've used, both worked for me.

You have to press Yes or Accept when it asks you that question.  Then it will dump you into the chatroom.
