Being deeply blessed

It is Merrie Monarch time and that term represents a King (kalakaua) who lived in the past and loved deeply our music and dance...(mele and hula).  I love it as deeply as he did and this annual event brings joy and elation to my heart.  It is over 55 years and has now captured the participation of other cultures such as the Japanese and Tongans, Samoans and more.  They have immersed themselves into this cultural celebration and it is soooo beautiful that I cheer and cry sometimes simultaneously.   How so different from how I use to feel when the disease was raging in my life and family...how so much more wonderful.  Mahalo Akua...Thank you God for this gift.

If any of you would like to experience a bit of it try tuning into Merrie Monarch.com and peek.  (((hugs))) wink

Thanks Jerry for your honesty in joy! Since program I am able to find happiness in parts of my life even when there is stress and sadness around. I no longer have to wallow in a pit of mud. I can appreciate flowers, music, birds, my dogs, etc. Have a wonderful day, Lyne
