I'm 6yrs in alanon this month and I wanted to thank the people here for being here and sharing the message. I look back and see how today my life is completely changed. I've changed and continue to want to change and grow. Alanon the people and the program has given me hope, there is help and guidance and things can get better. I've got gratutude now where before I could only see black misery and me on the self pity pot. Ive got relationships based on respect today where as before alanon I lay down for my role as doormat then whined about it, harbouring resentments for years. Ive got forgiveness in place of that long list of hurts that I relived regularly. The faulty thinking is there but one day at a time i have tools to help me keep it in check. Ive got a life I never knew was possible and I know the more I work it the better it just keeps getting. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of my journey friends old and new x
