Today I am doing what I am told to do. I am per procedure for my future colonoscopy. I think I am ready to attempt the procedure. It won't be done right away. I am over 50 & my dad died of colon cancer in 2011.
Pray for me that I make the right decision for me.
Sending you tons of positive thoughts and prayers. We have a family history of 'issues' from cancer to Crohn's to IBS and more so it's important to get in front of things. I did mine and was pleasantly surprised - I really thought the whole process was going to be much worse. (((Hugs))) - you got this and we got you!

Well i did what i was supposed to. I think the surgeon is a perfect fit. His dad died in his 80's of colon cancer. He also said that if my dad would've had a colonoscopy 5 years earlier he would have had made it! & I have to stay in town overnight. His strong suggestion. The reason we have to get a motel is because there aren't very many places to stop. We live 60 miles away from the clinic where the procedure is done. I think I will make it because it will be 3 weeks away.
