MAHALO MY SISTER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY OR MAYBE HAPPIER BECAUSE YOU ARE YOUNGER AND MOM ALWAYS LOVED YOU MORE....WAAAAH.
It is amazing to me that I cannot and could not feel it most happy to celebrate it here for what this family stands for and for the brothers and sisters who gather around and support each other.

Sending a big (((hug))) brother! Of course, we have some disease drama - what would a birthday be without it? I do have to giggle - my AH left a card for me when I ran out to get stuff for steaks this morning. It's a mother's day card with various terms crossed out and his terms inserted.....and - he forgot to sign it! I have hard from all 3 brothers, which is awesome as the one closest in age never accepted my amends and avoids me greatly.
I have not heard from my offspring and suspect that neither knows what today is. I have heard from my HP and he wants Jerry and I to both feel his love and blessings as we experience another day in our temporary places.
Have heard from my parents, some aunts, many friends and am avoiding facebook - because I can! Since I have no interest in baking a cake, I picked up a cheese cake....I'm curious as all get out - it's gourmet and is a Red Velvet Cheesecake - will report back if it's any good or not!

Mahalo Shrnp and Aline...there is never a loss of room for gratitude's Family is sooo special. Iam, I also talked with HP this morning when I swung my feet to the floor and thanked it (He/Her) for all of the gifts I have received from since I decided to scream "UNCLE" to let go of the fight with this disease. I was met with "go give it away" again as I often am and then went to my morning meeting and let the fellowship continue to fill me up since I first got here. HP is insistent that I stay in recovery and become and instrument in return. There was a newcomer visitor at this morning's meeting who had the ESH of an elder so I walked away again with gratitude and the feeling of being graced by HP again. Another opportunity to express gratitude and unconditional acceptance. Nothing wrong with feeling like a favorite son is there? ((((hugs))))

Never my brother, never! A favorite son is an awesome feeling....I jokingly announce myself when calling my parents that it is their favorite daughter calling - I am the only daughter. They and I have chuckled over that for years!
I had to laugh - we were watching the Royals game on TV and ... cable outage! It truly doesn't happen often yet it did tonight. So, I am watching the game on my mobile and using my mobile as a wireless router to get 'here' to MIP. I do love technology when I can figure it out!
We grilled steaks and one son did appear. I am grateful - will see the other tomorrow when my first grandchild turns 4. Grateful is an understatement, just for today!

Mama there have been some kinks in the day and nothing I'm going to kick and scream over...it is what it is and acceptance makes it acceptable...lol. The family has remembered the birthdate and has used it to sing the congratulations and make visual hookups so the grand kids and us can make contact. Sweet!! My morning meeting was great and I got lots to listen to and learn even for a 75 year old. Thank you God! The birds and bees are visiting and the weather has been great ...soooo we are good to go. God I wanted the little people to spend the night too!!! The 17 year old who isn't so little stayed and boy is she a blessing...Thank you God. We got a video from my step son and daughter and two midgets which went right to the soul...Thank you again God...Blessing for me and not for the wife who is 2600 miles away from them and wishes she could fly under self power or just levitate over. They want to come and the cost is gracious!! really?? HP will handle it more and in the meantime we stay in recovery. ((((MIP))))
I stopped off for balloons and some small treats! In my meeting, one member shared that her father always had M&M's that he sent with fruit (they lived in FL - away) for the little people. He included a note that he had planted a M&M tree just for them. I picked up some M&M's and if I can figure out a way to tell a story that works, might start a similar tradition!
We are making Mickey Mouse brownie waffles because I have a Mickey Mouse waffle iron! Had it for years and years and wasn't sure what to do with it - well now - I have a use!
Off to clean a bit and child-proof in preparation for the little people. In my family, they are far more fun that my own little (now large) people! (((Hugs)))
