Hi Barbara , aniversary meetings are celbrations for the group , length they have been going etc. kinda like a birthday celebration. They usually have guest speakers and meeting is open AAand Al-Anon attend. there will probably be an AA speaker and Al-Anon and often have coffee and goodies after . And u should be able to purchase literature at the meeting too.
