Spoke with my mother earlier today. She sounds better than she did a few days ago. She spoke with the court who told her they have been in touch/seen my brother. He stayed in a hotel last night and attended an AA meeting at the Salvation Army. Im hoping this is a beginning for him. He needs to see his probation officer on the 14th. Maybe it was just too much for him to be sent to live somewhere for 6months after being locked up for 30days.
such wonderful news, that your brother is accepting help, thank you so very much. Wether its his way or via guidance of the justice system., that hes made a choice to do it is what matters most! I pray he finds home....( A safe place for him ( his Self,) ) so he can (re-) gain his spiritual right. Your in my thoughts and prayers during these unsure times. " Let Go and Let God." (((Barbara)))
Thanks for keeping us up to date with this. I was brought up always to contribute to Salvation Army (they will be there for you, if all else fails!). Hope it is true. Have to say, most of the most genuine people I have met, either members, or supporters, of SA.
You are an inspiration on these boards, you are living the "one day at a time" promise.
