Well with a million things happening all at once in my life please say a little prayer for me and my family.
My mom's breast cancer has recured. She has a mass on the left side under her rib cage, after a cat scan they have found 3 spots (we think as her story gets minimized with each of us kids she tells) on her right lung. This is the side her breast cancer was on 9 years ago. They were going to send her to a lung specialist but as of yesterday morning the oncolgist called her and scheduled her an appointment at 3 tomorrow. The doctor suggested that she not come alone but with a family member. So I will go with her. My A actually volunteered to get off work early to also go with us. I feel as though I am living my life 12 years ago all over again. That is when they told us my father was terminal. I was married to a different A then. My A has been very supportive for the most part. I am sure I am not the easiest person to live with right now, the roller coaster of emotions.
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, you and your family will be in my prayers. Stay strong. I'm glad your "a" is being supportive to you, you need that right now. Keep us posted.

oh WOW, mary, i just got back from a prayer session with my aa recovery mate and our dear friend....we prayed for ALL of us to be under God's protective white light........
my prayers for ur mom and all of u to get through this.....my sister lost a breast summer of 02 and we have to watch her cuz that was her 2nd battle with it...before that it was in her right arm (same side as breast)....they can do a lot of stuff now, so chin up and prayers commin ur way, and try to take care of u in the process (hard but necessary).....
